American Equity Funding, Inc. became a licensed and bonded loan servicing company in 2004. With the current state of the mortgage industry and the need to diversify, we realized we were not utilizing our loan servicing ability. Sure, we collect on our own loans and the loans of a few investors. But with our loan servicing classification, we can now offer this service to everyone. If collection is not your strong point, this will allow you to focus on the things most important to you. Wouldn’t you love to just go to the mail box once a month, pick up the envelope from American Equity Funding, Inc. and take the check inside it to the bank?
Another benefit of this classification is that we can report every loan we service to all three major credit bureaus. While this benefit will be available, it is not up and running yet. Having your loans reported to the credit bureaus will ultimately raise your borrower’s credit scores and with this increase, the ability to sell your loans for larger profits. While selling your loans for a bigger profit, there is also the increased possibility for your borrowers to refinance their loans and pay you off in full. And who doesn’t like the possibility of making more money? We have several levels of participation outlined in the following list of fees. We know not everyone wants to have someone else call their borrowers every time they are late, just as we know that not everyone wants this hassle. Some note holders may just want the irritation of all the year end tax statements to be handled by someone else and not care about the ability to report to the credit bureau, some may want to let us handle it all. We are here to serve you no matter what level of service you prefer. We have looked at what the competition offers and think our rates are very comparable with what you can find in any other loan servicing company.
