Joyce
has worked in real estate related fields since 1979. She began working
with AEF in 1987, about the same time AEF was born, as a rental agent.
In 1988, she began underwriting the loans AEF was purchasing. Since
that time, she has worked in every part of the business, from buying
notes to selling them to investors. Today, she is the office manager
and oversees the underwriting and closing departments. She has the
tough job of making sure everyone does what needs to be done when it
comes to processing a loan file (ordering title work, appraisals, credit
reports, flood certificates, verifying insurance, payor interviews,
etc.) She is also a liaison with closing attorneys or title companies
to get a loan purchase closed.
